Korea Logis Pool (KLP), an affiliate of LOGISALL Group, has unveiled “Plat’Fork II,” an upgraded version of its forklift monitoring system, Plat’Fork.
Plat’Fork is an equipment monitoring system that enables real-time monitoring and analysis of operational data, including operating hours and travel speeds by operator and forklift. Based on the collected data, the system helps businesses determine the optimal number of units required at each site and anticipate maintenance needs, such as consumable replacement cycles.
With the launch of Plat’Fork II, KLP has strengthened monitoring capabilities and enhanced usability, aiming to further improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
The previous version of Plat’Fork required a separate data reception method to be developed for different equipment manufacturers and models. Plat’Fork II addresses this limitation by using a three-axis acceleration sensor to directly collect equipment movement data, significantly expanding compatibility across different manufacturers and equipment types. This enables key operational metrics—including operating hours, travel distance, and speed—to be standardized and managed efficiently through a unified system.
On-site safety management capabilities have also been enhanced. Plat’Fork II automatically detects various risk events, including collisions, impacts, rollovers, and sudden deceleration, while allowing individual sites to customize risk thresholds according to their operating environments. The system also records the entire response process for each event, including the person responsible, actions taken, and time of completion, improving the effectiveness of on-site safety management. A three-tier user authorization structure further enables more granular management scopes and access control.
Plat’Fork II also combines asset management with data analytics to enhance its practical value in day-to-day operations. Through integration with LEMS (LOGISALL Equipment Management System), the platform provides both operational data and asset information, such as rental providers and scheduled return dates, in a single interface. Its operational pattern analysis also identifies peak and idle periods and average operating hours per unit, supporting more informed, data-driven decision-making.
KLP plans to provide the latest version of Plat’Fork to existing customers first and gradually expand Plat’Fork II across its equipment rental customer base as a real-time business intelligence (BI) tool.
