LOGISALL Group, an integrated logistics innovation company, announced that Chairman Byongyoon Suh officially received the “Manager of the Year Award” at the 56th Korea Management Award ceremony hosted by the Korea Management Association (KMA). The ceremony was held on the morning of May 29 at the Grand Ballroom of Grand Hyatt Seoul, attended by leading figures from the business community and academia.

Now in its 56th year, the Korea Management Award is one of Korea’s most prestigious business awards, recognizing CEOs who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in growing their companies despite domestic and global economic challenges, while also contributing significantly to national economic development and social responsibility.

Chairman Suh was honored for pioneering Korea’s first shared logistics pooling system in an industry where such infrastructure previously did not exist, and for advancing the nation’s logistics competitiveness through highly sophisticated supply chain management (SCM) solutions tailored to various industries.

LOGISALL Group operates a nationwide shared logistics equipment network based on the strong synergy among its core affiliates, including Korea Pallet Pool (KPP), Korea Container Pool (KCP), and Korea Logis Pool (KLP). Moving beyond the conventional boundaries of third-party logistics (3PL), the Group has also led Korea’s industrial equipment and forklift rental market while driving sustainability and digital transformation (DX) across logistics operations. Today, LOGISALL provides integrated logistics services to more than 350,000 corporate customers across a wide range of industries.

During a special CEO dialogue session held after the award ceremony, Chairman Suh shared insights into the management philosophy that has guided his 50-year journey in logistics, as well as his vision for the future direction of Korea’s logistics industry.

“Innovation has always come from creating logistics value for customers through original ideas and in-depth research,” Chairman Suh stated while discussing his approach to creative management. He also reflected on how the business was able to overcome numerous challenges thanks to the trust and participation of customers, which ultimately shaped LOGISALL’s philosophy of “Coexistence & Mutual Prosperity” based on collaboration and shared growth.

Chairman Suh further emphasized the Physical Internet as a key pillar of the future logistics paradigm and introduced the “Korean Physical Internet – LAPI (Logistics Alliance for Physical Internet) Project.” He explained, “Future innovative logistics centered on shared logistics assets can never be achieved by a single company alone.” He also expressed his commitment to building a collaborative logistics ecosystem through the Korea CLO Council, led by the Korea Institute of Logistics (KIL) under LOGISALL Group, in cooperation with shippers and major countries around the world.

In his acceptance speech, Chairman Suh remarked, “Receiving the Korea Management Award is possible thanks to the many customers and employees who have long believed in the value of ‘Coexistence & Mutual Prosperity’ and joined us in innovating shared logistics infrastructure.” He added, “Building on the logistics path LOGISALL has pioneered, we will continue to accelerate digital innovation and expand global supply chains so that Korea’s logistics standards can become a benchmark for the global market.”
