– LOGISALL Group purchases 30 tons of Korean rice to support affordable meals for SNU students

LOGISALL Group announced on December 3 that it has signed a business agreement with NH NongHyup Bank to support Seoul National University’s “1,000-Won Meal” program and promote the consumption of Korean-grown rice.

Founded in 1984, LOGISALL Group has been at the forefront of innovation in Korea’s logistics industry. The company introduced the nation’s first logistics equipment pooling system and currently provides end-to-end SCM logistics services to more than 350,000 companies, helping manage the efficient flow of materials across businesses. LOGISALL has also expanded its efforts in globalization, new business development, digital transformation, and ESG management, while actively engaging in various social contribution activities.

Under the new agreement, NH NongHyup Bank will supply high-quality Korean rice through direct transactions with rural RPCs (Rice Processing Complexes). LOGISALL Group will purchase 30 tons of this rice and donate it to Seoul National University to support the university’s 1,000-Won Meal initiative. The program offers nutritious meals to students for just 1,000 won, helping them start their day well despite busy academic schedules.

Chairman Suh Byongyoon of LOGISALL Group stated, “We hope this contribution helps ensure that the talented young people who will lead our future can study in a more supportive environment. We will continue to uphold our philosophy of coexistence and mutual growth by supporting future generations and Korean agriculture.”

Eom Eul-yong, Deputy President of the Corporate Banking Division at NH NongHyup Bank, said, “We appreciate LOGISALL Group for joining us in a meaningful social contribution effort that supports the logistics industry and the younger generation. NongHyup Bank will continue to actively promote both financial and non-financial initiatives that contribute to the sustainable development of agriculture and rural communities.”

Yoo Hong-rim, President of Seoul National University, commented, “I extend my sincere gratitude to Chairman Suh for this generous act of giving toward the future of our university. This donation will bring real, positive change to students’ daily lives and provide warm encouragement and support. We will continue doing our best to ensure students can study in a healthier and more stable environment.”
