- On-site maintenance for 82 forklifts, including parts replacement and repairs

- Strengthening community partnership through pallet recovery campaign

Korea Pallet Pool(KPP), an affiliate of the LOGISALL Group, provided free forklift safety inspection services for local farmers in Munnam-myeon, Haenam County, South Jeolla Province, on September 23 and 24. The initiative was part of KPP’s ongoing efforts to promote mutual growth with local communities and to support its pallet recovery cooperation campaign.

The event was organized by Munnam Agricultural Cooperative and the local village leaders’ association, with support from KPP’s Southern Sales Division, which manages pallet pooling services in the Haenam region. Forklift inspections were conducted by the MHE Division of Korea Logispool (KLP), a LOGISALL Group subsidiary specializing in logistics equipment leasing and maintenance. Farmers registered their forklift specifications and inspection requests in advance, and for their convenience, inspection sites were set up at nine local hubs, including community centers, distribution outlets, and agricultural cooperatives.

During the two-day event, 82 forklifts underwent comprehensive maintenance, including engine oil and distilled water replacement, safety checks on braking and hydraulic systems, and on-site repairs for malfunctioning units. As the number of farms operating as agricultural corporations or cooperatives continues to rise, KPP also emphasized the importance of safety management in connection with the Serious Accidents Punishment Act and the Occupational Safety and Health Act. Through this initiative, KPP helped farmers improve the safety and reliability of their equipment operations, contributing to greater efficiency during peak farming seasons.

In addition, a pallet recovery cooperation campaign was carried out concurrently, resulting in the collection of 155 rental pallets from local farms. KPP’s pallet pooling service enables multiple companies to share and reuse pallets, significantly improving logistics efficiency and reducing environmental impact. However, some farms have been unaware that the pallets were rental items and therefore failed to return them. To address this, KPP has been conducting awareness campaigns to improve understanding of pallet reuse and enhance recovery rates.

A KPP official stated, “The free forklift inspection service goes beyond simple maintenance support—it represents our commitment to building stronger partnerships with local farming communities. We will continue to expand various mutual growth programs that deliver tangible benefits to local communities, alongside our pallet recovery cooperation initiatives.”
